I have not really been able to find information on how SPSS works with mime types. I found something that documentation refers to customizing the mime types of the form "application / x-vnd.spss-statistics"
For example following are mentioned: application/x-vnd.spss-statistics-spd, application/x-vnd.spss-statistics-data and application/x-vnd.spss-statistics-syntax (ZSAV = application/x-vnd.spss-statistics-data-compressed???).
