yeah, the frame focus commands not working also bothers me :) but
fselect working would be best. I mentioned it in this email
to the list a bit ago:

Basically, What would be nice is if fselect worked like it did now,
numbering the frames on the current screen from 0 and the frames on
other screens above that. This would give the exact same behaviour and
numbering as now for frames on the current screen, you just now have the
ability to select frames on other screens with larger numbers.

the exec execing programs on the wrong screen seems to have been fixed
in cvs, but i think the other bugs I mentioned still exist.
