[Rule-list] (Slinky) Logging into an ftp server

Hi.

I noticed that a lot of the rpm errors that seem to come about, seem to be 
because of rpm's ability to log into the ftp server. Is there some kind of 
hack or method of keeping the connection or remaining logged into the 
server?
