Eugene,
I agree with the suggestion to look at the /etc/init/ scripts if you
think vacuum can do with one parameter only. Another way, maybe less
complicated of getopt IIRC, is to look for the modelines script by ESR
(can't find the URL right now) and copy that tecnique.
