[Savannah-hackers-public] doc improvements

Hi Alexander,

    As a Savannah user who is rather fanatical about documentation, I
    would be happy to contribute to the User Docs.  I've had several
    learning experiences which could certainly benefit the
    documentation.  (Mailing list passwords, file upload issues)

We surely welcome assistance with savannah documentation.  However, I
think the main place to update is the Savannah wiki
http://savannah.gnu.org/maintenance/ which doesn't (technically
speaking) need special permissions to update.  Can you browse there and
(for the initial change) give the page and changes as a proposal in
some convenient way?

Or are there are other docs you had in mind?

I'm not sure of the criteria for adding people to the savannah admin
group, so am just trying to give an alternate route you can contribute
with right away
