We don't have anything against php3 in Savannah. In fact,
as someone has mentioned, Savannah depends on php3. What
happens is that the webpages for both GNU and non-GNU
packages are hosted in a different server, which is not
administered by Savannah. I don't know if php support has
not been configured in that server for some particular
concern about it, or simply because php was not around
when the web-server was first set up, and nobody has
raised the issue since. I will get the Webmasters opinion
on this issue and will then pass it on to to this support
request.

Let me add that, in the case of a problem with the PHP license, the absence of
PHP for the savannah users is
quite a nonsens because savannah itself use it for its main website.
