Ok, so there are a few non-gnu projects in savannah that are FSF-USA projects. They are rightly marked "non-gnu". However, they are fsf.org projects. I suggest that the mailing lists be set to plain "@fsf.org", not at "@mail.freesoftware.fsf.org". This makes more sense, and is easier for those posting to the lists. How hard is this? If it's terribly hard, we can live without it (just making aliases as needed. However, if it's not too hard, I would appreciate it if you all could do it. Right now, the FSF projects I can think of are: fsf-usa-org, compliance
It would be strange to give and "@fsf.org" adress for FSF-USA non-gnu projects and let to any others projects the "@mail.freesoftware.fsf.org" (since you admit that it's harder to manage such big adresses).
Personnally, I dont think that savannah should make 3 cat. of softwares, since there arent 3 cat. of free softwares. It exists only GNU packages and others.
We shouldnt make discriminations on the project author identity, it would be really unfair. The only arbitrary sorting we should make is the official one : part of the GNU project or not.
BTW, It would be good to :www.freesoftware.fsf.org/$project -> freesoftware.fsf.org/$project
mail.freesoftware.fsf.org -> freesoftware.fsf. Or, an another ideawww.freesoftware.fsf.org/$project -> savannah.gnu.org/$project (it already exists I think, but it should be the default) sv.gnu.org as an alias (or redirection to) for savannah.gnu.org, to get shorter url like www.sf.net ...
So an people can get urls like sv.gnu.org/$project that will redirect them to savannah.gnu.org/$project.
And mail adresses should be address@hidden or address@hidden
