Is it too big to be sent by mail?

Is important to include a COPYING file with the license in the package and that any files carries copyright and license notices as explained at http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html

After a little search, I see that the tarball should about or more than 1 Mo. If you promise to include the COPYING file and to follow the advice of http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-howto.html we can approve your project and take a look later to it to check this.

Agree?

Hi Mathieu,

I've registered Snacc with Savannah as proposed by Janet Casey of GNU
since
I'm lacking FTP space, even temporary:

I'm not the original author of the Snacc package, nor am I (anymore)
the
maintainer of Snacc -- Snacc is currently unmaintained. I'm just
looking for
some space to upload the source packages and the HTML home page to.
Can you
provide me with that?

Sebastian

Hi,

Could you create a tarbal with the code as it now exists
and make it available to a temporary URL, and then resubmit ?

Also note that Freeware doesn't mean Free Software, and that Linux is
only a kernel, not a complete operating system. It would be nice to
avoid thoses confusions that make difficult to understand for the
non-familiar what are we talking about.
For more information, take a look at
http://www.gnu.org/philosophy/words-to-avoid.html#TOCFreeware and
http://www.gnu.org/gnu/linux-and-gnu.html

Regards,
