Andreas Rottmann <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License: Package: DistWork
System name: distwork
Type: GNU

Description:
DistWork will be a peer-to-peer network for load distribution. It meant to be a
generalization of the concept behind distcc (http://distcc.samba.org/). In
contrast to distcc, however, DistWork will provide a generic distribition
framework for compilation and compilation-like tasks (e.g. raytracing and ogg
file compression).

The DistWork architecture consists of nodes and clients. The nodes form a P2P
network. Each node is capable of running a set of services. A client
application connects to a node (most probably to the local node running on the
same host) and requests a specific service. This node then selects a node
(might be itself) to run that service and forwards the input/output data from
the client to the servicing node.

DistWork will use GNU serveez for the node functionality.

DistWork is not yet released, but I\'m working on it.

Other Software Required:
* GNU Serveez: http://www.gnu.org/software/serveez/
* libpopt: http://ftp.rpm.org/pub/rpm/dist/rpm-4.1.x/

Hi,

A approved your project. For now I made it non-gnu. As soon as you have some code to show you are welcome to let your project be revised so it can be come a part of the GNU project.
