A package was submitted to savannah.gnu.org
This mail was sent to address@hidden, address@hidden

Hugo Gayosso <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License: The current \'COPYING\' file does not containt the \"or later\"
clause, but the author agreed to update it.

RMS is aware of this.
Package: cfengine
System name: cfengine
Type: GNU

Description:
Cfengine, or the configuration engine is an autonomous agent and a
middle to high level policy language for building expert systems which
administrate and configure large computer networks. Cfengine uses the
idea of classes and a primitive intelligence to define and automate
the configuration and maintenance of system state, for small to huge
configurations. Cfengine is designed to be a part of a computer immune
system, and can be thought of as a gaming agent. It is ideal for
cluster management and has been adopted for use all over the world in
small and huge organizations alike.

Website:
http://www.cfengine.org

Source:
ftp://ftp.iu.hio.no/pub/cfengine/cfengine-2.0.5pre2.tar.gz

Other Software Required:
GNU development environment: gcc, etc..

Berkeley Database obtainable from http://www.sleepycat.com

OpenSSL obtainable from http://www.openssl.org

On some systems, code under the Frontier Artistic License
(/pub/snprintf) might be compiled. This is compatible with the
GPL.

Other Comments:
I am submitting this project on behalf of Mark Burgess
<address@hidden> current maintainer of \'cfengine\'.

Cfengine is already part of the GNU Project:

address@hidden:~$ grep -i cfengine /gd/gnuorg/maintainers
cfengine (remote) - Mark Burgess <address@hidden>

and according to RMS the copyright is assigned to the FSF.
