Description:
CDSAgenda is a software born at CERN (http://www.cern.ch) to manage
Conferences, Seminars, Lessons etc... is written in PHP (actually compatible 
with 4.0.6, will be ported to 4.3.x then to PHP5 as soon as it will be released)

Then Abdus Salam I.C.T.P. (http://www.ictp.trieste.it) starting from year 2001 
did a common development with CERN.

The Objective of the software is to manage Conferences & Seminars containing 
session,talks,subtalk, associated documents etc...
The actual package is downlodable at:
http://cdsware.cern.ch/cdsagenda/download/4.2/cdsagenda-4.2.tar.gz 
is covered by GPL License and runnable with
PHP 4.0.6/Apache 1.3.x/Mysql 3.23.x environments (so approximatively with all 
main Linux distribution).

Future, most important development will be:
- merge cdsagenda-4.2.tar.gz with online version actually running at ICTP 
(http://agenda.ictp.trieste.it).
- add resource management (like: rooms, projectors and also financial 
management)
- complete user-oriented authorizations with roles management (the speaker will 
modify only its talks, director will manage its Conferences etc...etc...etc...)
- every new usefull module relative to conference, schools & seminars management

actually only italian ... will be translated also to english ... sorry!) a
