Szilveszter Farkas <address@hidden> described the package as follows:
License: gpl
Other License:
Package: debGTK
System name: debgtk
Type: non-GNU

Description:
The aim of this project, named debGTK is to create a user-/developer-friendly
interface for the tool needed by the creation and maintenace of a debian
package. The application is still in a planning phase, so there is
unfortunately no source code available yet. debGTK will be released under the
terms of GPL (version 2 or higher). The program will be written in Perl, using
its GTK and GTK2 bindings (I plan to relase both GTK and GTK2 versions).

debGTK will be a frontend for mainly two tools: dh_make and debchange. The
former is for creating a debian package skeleton and the latter is for
maintaining changelog files.

debGTK will function only on Debian GNU/Linux-like (dpkg-based) distributions,
because of its nature.

Other Software Required:
perl, gtk-perl (GTK), gtk2-perl (GTK2), dh-make (Debian GNU/Linux), devscripts
(Debian GNU/Linux)
