I want to make a set of tools for enhance the availables linux distributions 
like:

*An installer based on the features of YAST2,DrakConf,debian installer and 
Anaconda.
Actually the features for my first try are:
-using gtk(python, c, and java bindings) for the development.

-Only 3 steps installation
        --Partitioning disks
        --Ask for type of installation
        --Security
-Then the system will be installed with a minimal set of programs for running 
the real installer but now with the system initialized 
-Then install programs,install users,configuring firewalls,servers,etc...
---using gnuparted
---deb and rpm formats
---using parts of debian installer,anaconda and mandrake installation tools

*A system control center based on YAST2 & Drakconf
-using gtk(python, c, and java bindings) for the development.

---***remote config ***
---firewall
---terminal services config
---cluster monitoring

*A system program installation frontend based on apt with features based on the 
up2date from redhat 
--using gtk(python, c, and java bindings) for the development.
--updates via apt repositories
--updates via ssl +XML RPC
--using alien for deb-rpm |rpm-deb translation
