Thanks for pointing that out. Yes, my terminal (RXVT) does support
scrolling regions. Escape sequences can be found in the "RXVT Technical
Reference". Didn't know about that before.

Well, as my test shows, it does (unless there is another way for low
bandwidth scrolling).
