Yes. This is a matter of pain vs gain. I've been fighting
this for some time.

1) upgrading my "working" FC7 to FC10 is not an option at
this stage. My laptop is my source of income and long term
stability is an issue.

2) I tried and failed to build avr-libc using my previous
avr-gcc. I'm running out of time and patience.

3) The newly installed avr-gcc rpm has gotten me passed
the previous issue. :)
