Swarm doesn't use the "send" mechanism in Tcl/Tk at all. It's possible
that BLT itself does, although I would hope not. Swarm works fine on
at least two hosts that don't use xauth style authentication at all:
just xhost.

Does the problem go away if you just do "xhost +"? Not ideal, but at
least it pins down the problem.
