Well, first of all, I should have written that you need Tcl 7.4p3 and Tk
4.0p3, not 7.4/4.1. Secondly, as you said, the docs now say:

You might want to just stick with Tcl 7.4 and Tk 4.0, since you've gotten
Swarm to compile with those. Sorry for the confusion.
