Screaming and shouting may result in a limitiation like this being
removed, but it is just as likely that it will be annoying and ignored
by the volunteer contributors to GCC.

The best way to get a change installed in GCC (or at least to motivate other
contributors) is to submit a patch.  You have the source code!
