help getting started

We've just installed swarm 1.1 on SGI IRIX 6.2 using libffi-1.13,
blt2.3, tclobjc-1.2b, gcc-2.7.2.2, etc.  I've compiled the first
tutorial program, "simpleCBug", and am having trouble running it.
Objective C still looks pretty strange to me - am I missing some
command line argument, or is there something obvious I'm not doing,
or does this just tell me that the distribution isn't compiled
correctly?  Would appreciate a pointer!  SWARMHOME is the only
environment variable I have set that relates to swarm.

It's just running the first call, initSwarm().  Here's the stack:
