I solved it by recompiling gcc-2.8.1 from scratch, in /usr/gnu. It
would appear that all the objective C links can be found and
configuration runs smoothly. However, gmake now balks at making
/src/collections! If I go into that directory and gmake there, I get the
following result:
sg 10# gmake
/bin/sh ../../libtool --mode=compile gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../..
-I.. -I./.. -I./../defobj -I./../misc -g -O2 -Wno-import -c List.m
gcc -DHAVE_CONFIG_H -I. -I. -I../.. -I.. -I./.. -I./../defobj -I./../misc
-g -O2 -Wno-import -c -DPIC List.m
gcc: Internal compiler error: program cc1obj got fatal signal 6
gmake: *** [List.lo] Error 1
Any ideas?
Thanks, Jonathan
