Sorry about the mixup, as you guessed I'm using 1.0.5 on a RedHat 6.1
Intel box - so none of this applies. So without the benefit of
jdk12.tar.gz or jikes XML stuff works with the beforementioned caveat that
*.class files need to be moved into respective directories.
