Hey!
I just spent a few hours pulling what little is left of
my hair out of my head trying to figure out why I couldn't
access a package from a jar file in JBuilder. For those
of you to whom this is common knowledge, please ignore me.
If you have trouble importing a package into jbuilder, but
can't find anything wrong with the jar file, check to see
if you're putting more than one package into that jar file.
If so, split the packages up into separate jar files. JBuilder
can then find them.
You know, you tell people over and over that one should not
base the functionality or usage of a file on the name of the
file; but, do they listen? Hmmm? Of course not! What the
heck is a freakin' manifest for if not to tell you what's in
the file? [sigh] Anyway, the 1.2 jre seems to work fine
with multiple packages in a jar file; but, JBuilder doesn't.
