the jar file from java fixes and install it into a redhat system.
Interesting. I thought those things were intended only for MS windows
systems.
Yea, that's the reason for existense for jars. They're primarily intended as
cross-platform delivery packages. Somewhat analagous to RPMS, except there is
no installation process; they're just a way to bundle code and resources.
