I made this mistake using uniformIntRand. Do you think it should warn me?

I mistakenly wrote this:

return topAlts[[uniformIntRand getIntegerWithMin: 0 withMax: count-1]] 
;

And in the rare occasion where count=0, then this generated behavior I
could not understand. 
Do you think the uniformIntRand ought to kick you when you have a Max <
Min?
