Strange, it works with both with stock 2.1.1 and the latest swarm.dll.
What do you get from "mount" in Swarm/terminal? Maybe it has something
to do with the filesystem flags; however, I'm pretty sure that the
HDF5 library will force `binary' mode in all cases.
