a very simple and stupid problem.

Under cygwin (i686-pc-cygwin) I have built the bug executable.
When I run the gdb:

gdb bug

the message

"/swarmapps-2.0.1/test5/bug": not in executable format: File not
recognized

appears.
All other attempts
gdb
run bug

etc.

result in the same error.
