Compiling Swarm-2001-12-18

After a brief interlude in which I tried to get some work done, I'm back trying 
to compile Swarm on Solaris 2.8 (sparc architecture) using Sun's j2sdk 
1.3.1_01, gcc-3.0, binutils-2.11.2, fileutils-4.1 and GNU sed-3.02. Whilst 
compiling swarm-2001-12-18, I get the following messages (which I assume are 
bad...):
