Probes And Inheritance

I am currently trying to create probes for variables in a superclass.  There is 
the solution supplied by Marcus G. Daniels dated Oct 14 2000 in swarm support.  
I implemented a copy of this solution using Windows 2000 and Swarm 2.1.1.

The following error messages were obtained :

Grateful if you could advise if any changes are necessary for the code to work 
in my environment.
