I have Swarm (and the java examples, as well) working with SuSE 
Linux 7.3. I compiled from source and used the Tcl/Tk/BLT that 
came with Suse 7.3. The versions are Tcl8.3, Tk8.3 and BLT2.4u. I 
also compiled with gcc2.95.3 (again the version that came with 
SuSE7.3).
