It looks like a file got corrupted somewhere. The last creating line
should read
> config.status: creating src/simtoolsgui/Makefile
like the others. Then it would be looking for Makefile in which is there.
Try doing a clean check out from the CVS.
Having done that, please check the latest readme, as we have exposed some
problems with a couple of the Apple tools.
