So you:

1) *knew* that messages to nil were to be tolerated (putting aside the 
false assumption that Swarm was an instance of `pure' Objective C). 

2) proceeded to write your model to have nil objects receiving them

3) and then, when they were suddenly caught, and the location of the 
`message to nil' was reported, in what way is not obvious what changed?   

I understand you might not *like* that happened, but that's a different 
matter.
