That 2.4 numbering was my fault, I took responsibility for it. Redhat packaging
wants a version number like 2.X.X, you
know, I just need something to hold on to.
Would you please care to assign a version number for a recent tarball so that
we will have something to refer to? If
"make dist" still works in the tree, I can do that much.
