Follow-up Comment #2, bugs #11746 (project uisp):
I have used 2.6.7, 2.6.9, and now 2.6.10 with uisp for some time now with no
problem. I did find that if the parallel port driver (the actual driver, not
the user space driver) was compiled as a module it would not actually find my
parallel port when the module was loaded. I had to have parallel port
support compiled into the kernel for it to find the port.
