I had a chance to talk with David Sugar about SEE.  At
this point, SEE is a general plugin framework. 
Snipped below:


09:09:58 <dyfet>        SEE hasn't been worked on for
awhile.  But doing a plugin is very simple.  You only
need to extend a base class in a shared memory object
file.
09:10:42 <bill_lance>   Exactly what services does it
provide?
09:19:20 <dyfet>        Basically a loader, a
structure for containing and finding other plugins and
a token parser for control
09:26:58 <bill_lance>   Doesn't it implement any
sandbox functions?
09:27:11 <dyfet>        No not as yet.


This may be a good place to begin thinking about the
Service Manager.
