As we speak/write, my test document has an error that seems a bit
difficult to stop. So latexmk at first tries to suggest to use the -f
(force option) which I am not going to do. Depending on the size of the
document, I would intuively switch to vanilla latex, in my case the
document has only 7 pages (but is somehow complex), so for larger
document that might be an issue.

I had a quick look at the issue but fail to see the problem, I can spot
any problem, but then I am running the latest master, sorry main. 🤪
