Hello all,

My name is Thomas Gideon and I produce and host The Command Line
Podcast. I currently use all open source software in recording, editing
and mastering the audio for my show. Most of that is also free
software, as far as is possible with the couple of non-free formats I
feel obliged to support allow.

I am glad to offer the experience I've accrued over the past five plus
years of working on my show to help out with any audio related
questions. I have a modest home studio so have gone through getting
firewire based digital audio hardware working with GNU/Linux and
primarily use Ardour for its more advanced capabilities but also use
Audacity for some of its strengths. I also employ a constellation of
command line encoders for bouncing down audio and adding consistent
tags/comments to all my finished files.
