Not on Unix systems, of course. But on Woe32 systems, writing text with
CR/LF is the normal thing to do. The problem is only with Cygwin, because
Cygwin is a POSIX implementation on one hand, and running inside a Woe32
box on the other hand. They solve this conflict like this:
