What do others think?  I think freezing the wiki is too radical and
goes against the main purpose of a wiki.

Maybe freezing only the main page, as John suggests, is a good
solution, since it's the most affected by spammers and not frequently
intentionally modified.  Would a plain "svn lock" do the trick?

It's a fact that vandalism has been annoying us since the beginning,
and a lot in the last weeks.  I agree that we need a way to minimize
the action of spammers.
