I don't think Jordi wants to remove any part of the widget system. ;) I 
think the reasons for the suggested removal of these files are as follows:

gfx_state.h is not used by glutton (most of it is actually duplicated in 
gfx_widgets.h)
gfx_sci.h contains only one struct which also doesn't seem to be used.
