Yeah, this is a point of strong consensus, and it goes just as well for 
thunderbird and seamonkey. Addon page is one firefox issue everyone is aware 
of, but there may be others, and the best place to find out more is by talking 
to the icecat team.

Actually, if I were you, I would not give up on referencing your hardware 
products from the PureOS website. If Trisquel can recommend computers with 
non-free BIOS (they do) for use with their OS, you should be able to do so as 
well. I think you may be able to strike a compromise by making the separation 
between the PureOS project and the hardware place clear enough (different 
domains, styling), and explaining the inherent dangers of using non-free BIOS 
to PureOS users.

I am not sure I understand the first part of this question... It seems clear 
to me that your hardware front will not have to be compliant, so there cannot 
be any objection to shipping PureOS pre-installed. Your laptop front certainly 
can advertize and bundle PureOS.
