From our perspective we have the source code to a working compiler
with OpenCOBOL 1.1
This has given us more flexibility than we ever had in the
proprietary world. We use it on a daily basis to generate new
programs.
If 2.0 does get published that will probably be nice, but as for us
we have what we need to get our job done.
