[Gnumed-bugs] xDT import problems

This may be a combination of lack of knowledge as to how xDT import is supposed 
to work, and a bug.

As far as how xDT is supposed to work, the plug in presently provides a window 
with nothing except column headings with no data, plus a "load file" button...
1) are files that live in known directories supposed to be automagically listed?
2) does automatic listing require that these files possess extension .xDT?
        (my workplace contains
                filename = ../data/other/CA-MSVA.txt.test
        (and I renamed the file sitting in ../data/other/CA-MSVA.txt
                to be ...CA-MSVA.txt.test
but it still did not show automatically?

2) When I did "load file" I could see some of its contents listed on a line, 
but am I supposed to be able to do anything else with it?
        Maybe there is supposed to be a button which does the same as the menu 
Person > Load external

3) When I do Person > Load external, I am provided a dialog that lists two 
records when the file contains only one?

4) When I load / import, is there a bug why the address does not get imported?
