Building Lynx with MS VisualStudio 2008 (a free download), is
a rather noisy process. So I went ahead and fixed it. The patch and
the new file src/LYmsvc_posix.h is in the attached diffs-5.txt.
The rationale for all this is described in this new file.
With this addition, the latest lynx builds with only 2 warnings!
