For some value of "hard". ;-)Installing MinGW on my heavily customized system does not seem easy (nor safe). It would be way easier for the user to install Cygwin (a friend if mine tried it and had lzip working on her Windows machine in no time).
./configure CXX=i686-w64-mingw32-g++-posix LDFLAGS=-static make mv lzip lzip.exe That's it :-) I didn't try plzip, though, but the build process should be similar there.
Please, could you try compiling plzip and then send me the (zipped) binaries for me to upload them to the ftp site? Thanks.
