Details:
Using opengl to plot (fresh install of 3.8.2 on mac os x), from the gui
calling sombrero() or peaks() causes the plotting window to open *upside*down*
-- that is, the symbols for zoom, pan, etc, are inverted and at the top of the
window, and so forth. Then, after perhaps 30 seconds loading, the gui crashes
before it draws anything.
Plotting from the command line, the windows and graphs do draw properly,
although they spit errors about fonts.
