Follow-up Comment #48, bug #56752 (project octave): @jwe: The first part of your answer confirms what I had hoped, that the Array class is already correctly programmed to handle RO access (const) to data members without checking reference counts. So my vote would be to remove the NoAlias class. I'm not hard set on this though.
