Follow-up Comment #8, bug #61017 (project octave): if the .bat file successfully opens an octave gui, next please open a command prompt, navigate to the ..\octave-6.3.0-w64\mingw64\bin folder. Assuming it's under C:\Program Files\GNU Octave, you would type something like: cd "C:\Program Files\GNU Octave\octave-6.3.0-w64\mingw64\bin" or cd "C:\Program Files\GNU Octave\mingw64\bin" (because of the spaces in the folders, I think you need the "") then run the command: octave.bat --gui let us know if anything starts. _______________________________________________________ Reply to this item at: <https://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?61017> _______________________________________________ Message sent via Savannah https://savannah.gnu.org/
