With higher res screens and aging eyes I found it hard to see the cursor
because it was can be so thin: only 1 pixel wide in some cases.
I find that MS-Windows (10,11) has text cursor width Setting and it can be set
almost as wide as a typical letter. Increasing the width has helped with some
applications, but sadly Octave is one of those that has not observed this
setting. Please get Octave it to use the system setting in all the places a
cursor occurs, the GUI, figures etc.
Perhaps there's a few other accessibility aid settings that I'll be looking
for in the future - please adopt all that can be.
