Follow-up Comment #31, bug #63404 (project octave):

regarding the common vocabulary: The difference "shortcut" and "accelerator"
is intended. In my understanding, something like "Ctrl+R" for invoking a
specific action is a shortcut, whereas "Alt+R", where "R" is the highlighted
character in a menu name, is an "accelerator" of this menu.
