I agree with Alan.  Option C seems a most sensible way to do it.  Typing
Ctl-B and then hitting Enter after looking over the proposed spot is not
onerous.

I've not used the cluster features much except for the Kansas QSO Party
where there is no penalty for a single op doing so.  In that case as an
in-state participant I am more interested in having my run frequency
spotted.
